My Approach
Using a holistic approach and drawing upon a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, somatic approaches, narrative therapy, and play therapy, I tailor treatment to each person's unique needs. My goal is to help clients develop greater emotional regulation, improve executive functioning, strengthen relationships, and cultivate a sense of safety within themselves and their lives.
Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, neurodivergence, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and compassionate space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow.
I also have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including autistic adolescents and adults, through a neurodiversity-affirming lens.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
What to Expect
Using warmth and curiosity, I will help you connect your head and body:
A session might begin with an invitation for you to share how you are feeling or a moment from your week.
As you speak, I may gently ask you to notice any sensations or emotions that arise in your body. You might observe a tightness in your shoulders, a fluttering in your stomach, or nothing.
We will engage with these feelings together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Sometimes, we will use grounding techniques, such as noticing the chair at your back or feeling your feet on the floor, to help you remain present through invitation, pacing, and relationship.
We reveal your true self beneath adaptations, survival strategies, and others' expectations.
